The Chinese National day and Mid-autumn festival are getting closer. The National day holiday takes place October 1st – October 8th, and the Mid-autumn festival is October 6th. As these are national holidays it affects all production in China and Taiwan. We are preparing action plans together with our factories to find different ways of working around disruptions.

All our efforts are always focused on your production, and our Factory Management team will be manned during the holiday. But despite all the precautions we are taking, it could be good to think ahead to avoid disruption in your production. We have made a list of a number of proactive measures to think about.
Prepare before the holiday
- Together with NCAB Group, plan your production before the holiday. We can look at what is due directly after the holiday (i.e. the first few days) and pull it forward so that it ships before.
- Prioritize your most critical products
- NCAB will use optional factories whenever applicable for QTA
- Buffer stock managed by NCAB
National day & Mid-autumn festival
China’s National Day, also called Golden Week, is the celebration of the founding of People´s Republic of China. It is celebrated with various ceremonies, parades and other activities. The holiday connected to the National day is a week long, and that’s why it is also called the Golden Week.
The Mid-Autumn festival is one of the main Chinese festivals and has a long history. An important part of the festival celebration is moon worship and mooncakes, a traditionally rich pastry that is typically filled with sweet-bean or lotus-seed paste, are eaten during this festival. The Mid-Autumn festival‘s moon represents people’s family reunion, and expresses the feeling of missing loved ones and their hometown, praying for a bumper harvest and future happiness. It has become a rich, colorful and valuable cultural heritage.

Fête nationale et fête de la mi-automne
La fête nationale chinoise et la fête de la mi-automne approchent à grands pas. La fête nationale aura lieu du 1er au 8 octobre, et la fête de la mi-automne aura lieu le 6 octobre. Ces jours fériés impactent l’ensemble de la production en Chine et à Taïwan. Nous préparons des plans d’action en collaboration avec nos usines afin de trouver différentes solutions pour faire face aux perturbations.
Nous concentrons tous nos efforts sur votre production, et notre équipe du Factory Management sera présente pendant les vacances. Malgré toutes les précautions prises, il est conseillé d’anticiper pour éviter toute perturbation de votre production. Nous avons dressé une liste de mesures proactives à prendre.
Préparez-vous avant les fêtes
- En collaboration avec le groupe NCAB, planifiez votre production avant les fêtes. Nous pouvons anticiper les échéances immédiatement après les fêtes (c’est-à-dire les premiers jours) et les anticiper afin qu’elles soient expédiées avant.
- Priorisez vos produits les plus critiques.
- NCAB utilisera les usines optionnelles, le cas échéant, pour les QTA.

Fête nationale et fête de la mi-automne
La Fête nationale chinoise, également appelée Semaine d’or, célèbre la fondation de la République populaire de Chine. Elle est rythmée par diverses cérémonies, défilés et autres activités. La fête reliée à cette fête nationale dure une semaine, c’est pour cela qu’elle est également appelée Semaine d’or.
La fête de la mi-automne est l’une des principales fêtes chinoises et possède une longue histoire. Un aspect important de cette fête est le culte de la lune, et des gâteaux de lune, une pâtisserie traditionnellement riche, généralement fourrée de pâte de haricots sucrés ou de graines de lotus, y sont dégustés. La lune de la fête de la mi-automne symbolise les retrouvailles familiales et exprime le sentiment de regret des êtres chers et de leur ville natale, en souhaitant une récolte abondante et un avenir heureux. Elle est devenue un patrimoine culturel riche, coloré et précieux.

Der chinesische Nationalfeiertag und das Mondfest stehen vor der Tür. Der Nationalfeiertag findet vom 1. bis 8. Oktober statt, das Mondfest am 6. Oktober. Da es sich um nationale Feiertage handelt, sind alle Produktionsstätten in China und Taiwan davon betroffen. Wir erstellen gemeinsam mit unseren Fabriken Aktionspläne, um verschiedene Möglichkeiten zu finden, wie wir die Unterbrechungen umgehen können.

Nationalfeiertag & Mondfest
Der chinesische Nationalfeiertag, auch Goldene Woche genannt, ist die Feier zur Gründung der Volksrepublik China. Er wird mit verschiedenen Zeremonien, Paraden und anderen Aktivitäten begangen. Ein wichtiger Teil der Feierlichkeiten sind die Mondanbetung und Mondkuchen, ein traditionell reichhaltiges Gebäck, das typischerweise mit süßer Bohnen- oder Lotussamenpaste gefüllt ist und während dieses Festes gegessen wird. Der Mond des Mittherbstfestes steht für das Wiedersehen der Familien und drückt das Gefühl der Sehnsucht nach geliebten Menschen und der Heimat aus, das Beten für eine reiche Ernte und zukünftiges Glück. Es ist zu einem reichen, farbenfrohen und wertvollen kulturellen Erbe geworden.

National Day cinese e Festa di Metà Autunno
Il national day Cinese e la festa di Metà Autunno si stanno avvicinando. Le festività si svolgeranno dal 1° all’8 ottobre, mentre la festa di Metà Autunno sarà il 6 ottobre. Trattandosi di festività nazionali influenzano tutta la produzione di Cina e Taiwan. Per questo abbiamo preparato un piano d’azione insieme alle nostre fabbriche per ridurre al minimo le interruzioni.

Come puoi prepararti alle festività della Golden Week
- Pianifica la tua produzione prima delle festività cinesi con il supporto di NCAB Group. Possiamo anticipare le spedizioni che sono previste immediatamente dopo le festività. Le spedizioni saranno disponibili fino al 26 settembre e riprenderanno il 10 ottobre.
