Flex-rigid printplaten

Flex-rigid printplaten zijn ingewikkelde producten waarvoor een sterke mate van interactie tussen onze technici en de uwe essentieel is. Net als bij andere complexe producten, is het nodig dat de NCAB Group en de ontwerper zo snel mogelijk met elkaar in contact komen, zodat het ontwerp kan worden geoptimaliseerd met het oog op de produceerbaarheid en het optimaliseren van de kosten. Wij ondersteunen flex-rigid printplaten zowel lokaal in Europa en in de VS als offshore voor grotere volumes.

Beschikbare structuren voor rigid-flex printplaten

Er zijn talrijke, verschillende structuren beschikbaar. De meest voorkomende worden hieronder gedefinieerd:
Traditionele rigid-flex constructie (IPC-6013 type 4) Multilayer rigid en flexible circuit combinatie bestaande uit drie of meer lagen met geplateerde doorgaande gaten. Vermogen is 22L met 10L flexlagen.
Asymmetrische flex constructie, waarbij de FPC zich op de buitenste laag van de harde constructie bevindt. Bevat drie of meer lagen met doorlopende geplateerde gaten.
Meerlaagse rigid-flex constructie met begraven/blinde via (microvia) als onderdeel van de rigid constructie. 2 lagen microvia zijn haalbaar. De constructie kan ook twee harde structuren omvatten als deel van een homogene bouw. Mogelijkheid is 2+n+2 HDI-structuur.

Technology highlights	Mixed materials including RF and high speed, standard FR-4, polyimide flex. Adhesiveless or adhesive based polyimide flex constructions, with cover coat or flexible solder mask materials.
Bending performance	Based on the specific design, the bend performance can range from a basic 90 °bend to fit to a full dynamic flex with 360° range of motion in the flex tail that will withstand continuous cycles throughout the product life.
Bend features	Bend radius controls the flexibility of the flex portion of the board. The thinner the material the lower the bend radius and the more flexible the flex section.
