Our sustainability strategy defines our long-term goals and focus areas. With clear priorities the strategy guides us in the right direction to gain sustainable business growth and helping us to achieve the positive changes we want to see in the industry.
We have used the ISO 26000 standard to identify the issues that are most important to NCAB, based on our impact, stakeholder expectations and the improvements we can achieve. We have divided our sustainability strategy into three focus areas in relation to our prioritized stakeholder groups; customers, employees and suppliers. It serves as a way of illustrating how our sustainability work strengthens these relationships. We implemented our first sustainability strategy in 2014, with a latest update in February 2022. Our strategy specifies long-term goals and focus areas, from which we set concrete actions. Through our sustainability work, together with our stakeholders, we are working towards achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and are contributing mainly to 8 out of the 17 goals.
