Alto compromiso: nuestra receta para el éxito

High engagement – our recipe for success

As a knowledge-based company, it is our employees who make us successful and are our greatest competitive advantage. The high engagement level shown by our employees, together with their extensive knowledge and skills are key factors to our success. We offer a stimulating global environment, a unique culture with clear values, and continuous learning and development.

Commitment

Attract, engage and develop the best people

Measurable goals

  • Employee engagement, leadership, and team efficiency.
  • Scope 1 & 2 – Net-zero by 2030
  • Scope 1 – All new company cars to be zero emission from 2025.
  • Scope 2 – 50% of all offices and internal warehouses to use renewable energy by 2025, and 100% by 2030.
  • Scope 1-3 – reduce emissions by half by 2030, and net-zero by 2050 (intensity target tCO2e/SEK million sales)

Actions and achievements 2023:

  • The result of the employee satisfaction survey showed a continued high degree of engagement among our employees and NCAB was named best employer in the Brilliant Awards.
  • NCAB received an EcoVadis Gold rating for our sustainability work.
  • Continued investing in employee skills development, specifically leadership, sales, technology and onboarding of new employees.
  • Global online meetings inviting all employees for relationship building, inspirations and reaffirming our company culture and values. Two online events – “The Garden Party and 30 Years Anniversary” on the theme “Passions for Growth – building Strong Relationship above and beyond” and “All employee meeting – Christmas edition”.
  • Our employees around the world contributed to society with their Give Back Day.
  • Increased number of electrical company cars and decreased number of diesel/petrol cars.
  • In 2023, 34% (25%) of NCAB premises run on 100% renewable energy or have “green energy” contracts, which covers 51% (41%) of our total electricity consumption.
  • The increase in emissions intensity (tCO2e/SEK million sales) is attributable to an increase in total emissions in combination with lower sales compared with the year-earlier period.
  • Scope 1 and 2 emissions decreased.
  • The increase in Scope 3 emissions was largely a result of increased energy use when manufacturing PCBs, attributable to lower energy efficiency per manufactured square metre of PCB due to lower utilisation levels in many factories this year compared with 2022. Scope 3 accounts for 99.4%.

For us to remain a top-tier performing company, it is essential that everyone who works at NCAB Group is motivated and engaged. Our commitment is to attract, engage and develop the best people. We want to offer a stimulating work environment, empowering, respecting and including every individual.

To do this we have to maintain an open dialogue, providing the basis for good rapport between our co-workers, and a workplace where everyone develops, is engaged and takes pride in their work. Areas we work with are:

  • Value-based leadership and innovation
  • Employee health and satisfaction
  • Training and competence development
  • Equal opportunities
