- Scope 1 & 2 – Net-zero by 2030
- Scope 1 – All new company cars to be zero emission from 2025.
- Scope 2 – 50% of all offices and internal warehouses to use renewable energy by 2025, and 100% by 2030.
- Scope 1-3 – reduce emissions by half by 2030, and net-zero by 2050 (intensity target tCO2e/SEK million sales)

Actions and achievements 2024:
- NCAB received an EcoVadis Silver rating for our sustainability work. We scored overall 73 out of 100 which places us amongst the top 4 percent in the Manufacture of electronic components and boards industry and top 7 percent of all companies globally that have been rated by EcoVadis over the previous 12 months.
- NCAB committed to set scientific climate targets through the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi).
- Continued investing in employee skills development, specifically leadership, sales, technology and onboarding of new employees. 20 NCAB leaders from around the world participated in our NCAB Exploring Leadership program.
- NCAB organised a global conference for all employees, a valuable opportunity to build stronger relationships and company culture, and to create customer value and develop together. The themes for the conference were “AI = authentic intelligence” and “Exploring”, focusing on exploring new ideas that make us more innovative and sustainable as a business. Before Christmas holiday everyone was invited to an online global meeting to sum up the year.
- Our employees around the world contributed to society with their Give Back Day.
- In 2024, 47% (34%) of NCAB premises run on 100% renewable energy or have “green energy” contracts, which covers 56% (51%) of our total electricity consumption.
- Increased number of electrical company cars.
- Emissions intensity (tCO2e/SEK million sales) is largely unchanged, attributable to a decrease in total emissions in in combination with lower sales compared with the year-earlier period.
- Scope 1 and 2 emissions slightly decreased.
- In Scope 3, emissions decreased mainly due to an increased share of manufacturing in Europe and a decreased share in China, but also due to an increased share of renewable energy used in manufacturing in China. Scope 3 accounts for 99.4%.
