Business Gazelles is a ranking of the fastest growing small and medium businesses. The first edition of the Business Gazelles ranking took place in 2000.
Gazelle is a company small or medium size, which, thanks to its dynamic development can cope well even among much larger competitors. Business Gazelle rankings are compiled every year by economic newspapers belonging to the Swedish group Bonnier Press Group. In addition to the Polish newspaper ”Puls Biznesu”, such lists are developing by its sister newspapers from Sweden, Denmark, Austria, Latvia, Russia, Estonia and Slovenia. Gazelles are the selection criteria in each country tailored to local economic conditions, but the goal is the same everywhere: to promote small and medium enterprises.
