NCAB won the Carnegie Sustainability Award for Best Newcomer

"We are very proud to have been awarded the Carnegie Sustainability Award 2019 in the category Best Newcomer. Sustainability for us is about the long-term survival of our business and I’m very happy to share our approach, opportunities and challenges to run our business in a sustainable way, with this I hope we can inspire others as well," says Anna Lothsson, Sustainability Manager NCAB Group.

On 15 May, the Carnegie Sustainability Seminar was arranged for the first time, a cross-industry seminar with large-cap and small-cap representatives, and with a clear focus on the long-term strategy and sustainability agenda. 20 companies presented their sustainability approach focusing on opportunities as well as challenges, and how to incorporate sustainability into long-term strategy. NCAB Group was one the speakers.

Among 170 Swedish listed companies that Carnegie analyzes annually, three companies have been recognizes with a new established sustainability award. The purpose is to highlight sustainability parameter to create shareholder value and inspire both companies and investors through good examples. The analysis focus on risks and opportunities linked to corporate governance as well as environmental, social and financial responsibility.
