NCAB Group was founded in Sweden in 1993, by three dedicated experts – now, over 30 years later, we have 19 local companies and more than 600 experts all over the world.
Our journey over the past 30 years includes many milestones, from our first approved automotive part in a Lada 1999, to delivering PCBs for electric‑vehicle chargers. The journey has taken us from our first rigid-flex PCB in 2001 to our first 48 layers produced in 2020. In 2011, our own PCB specification – which goes beyond IPC class 2 – was born. It specifies over 100 of the most important features for a durable and reliable PCB and is the result of decades of development work and experience. All features must be met while manufacturing PCBs for our customers.
Since 2003, when we were certified according to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001, we have been committed to driving a positive change regarding sustainability throughout the value chain together with our customers and production partners. Our first sustainability strategy was implemented in 2014 and has helped us to understand what we must do to reduce negative impact and accelerate positive change, regarding social, environmental and governance issues. In 2021 we started to measure our GHG emissions and the climate impact they have in Scope 1, 2 and 3. In 2025 we earned an EcoVadis Medal for our sustainability work. EcoVadis assesses a company’s sustainability management through its policies, actions and results.

Being a global organization that is growing both organically and through acquisitions, we work hard to maintain our company culture. In 2005, our company values were developed by all employees, guiding us in making the right decisions every day. We believe that our strong common values and business culture are key to aligning our global business and integrating a sustainable mindset into our everyday decisions.
Our strategy for delivering quality includes being onsite and working directly with the factories. In 2006, when our Factory Management team in China was established, we began the systematic management of the factories and have been developing it since then. Over the years, our Factory Management team has been established in Europe, USA and Taiwan. The team is directly responsible for the factories’ performance, as well as for building relationships and working proactively with them to achieve improvements.
Over the years, we have established local companies in 19 countries, from our first company outside Sweden, NCAB Group Finland, established in 1998, to our newest company, NCAB Group Austria, established through an acquisition in 2024.
