Supply chain situation due to extended Chinese New Year / Corona virus

Current situation: China’s Central Government has extended the national Chinese New Year holiday for an extra three days, meaning that it will now end on February 2nd, however power has been given to local provinces to extend as they fit to minimize risk of spread with large scale public movement. For example, Guangdong, where majority of factories are located, announced, on the 28th of January, that work will resume 9/2/20 and schools 17-24/2/20.

What is the impact for PCB deliveries?

This situation will have an impact upon NCAB Group and our ability to ship products, in that our approved factories as well as both customs clearance and freight forwarders will not be operating for this extended period of closure.
It is expected that this period of disruption may be experienced as we move further into February, therefore we are working closely with our supply chain partners to obtain a more accurate forecast with regards to order books.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact your local contact person.
Our aim is to minimize the negative effect this will have on our expected deliveries.

Kind Regards,
NCAB Group
