All together about 50 people gathered in Helsinki to listen to three speakers: Mikko Routti, CEO FIBS, Hannu Rintala, Head of occupational health of ABB Group Finland and Anna Lothsson, Strategic purchasing manager, from NCAB Group. The main purpose of the seminar was to highlight the importance of sustainability work and how companies, no matter what size, actually can make a difference.

Mikko Routti started by explaining why it is relevant to integrate sustainability as part of your business; it is affecting so many areas of our daily work that we better take good care of it in order to make profitable business that will be successful also in the future – both economic and ethical wise. Hannu Rintala continued by telling how a big company like ABB is working with CSR and how it has and will affect their business. Anna Lothsson then gave the perspective from a smaller company and spoke about the sustainability journey of NCAB Group, where we have started and what we have already achieved by putting more effort in these areas.

The audience asked a lot of questions and the feedback after the seminar was very positive.
