Compliance

Export control

Export control regulations are essential to protecting national security and keeping sensitive technologies out of the wrong hands. Industries such as aerospace & defense must comply with these regulations to avoid serious penalties. Everyone in the supply chain is responsible for following these laws and regulations, and responsible for knowing that your customer and your supplier are legally authorized to have access to the export-controlled item or service.

Customer and supplier screening
Only pre-screened and authorized customers and/or suppliers are involved in export-controlled activities to maintain compliance.

Employee training
Only highly trained, experienced, and screened NCAB employees are permitted access to export restricted information.

Export control information form
We operate a comprehensive compliance program dedicated to protecting export-controlled items and technical data. To support compliance efforts across the supply chain, we require customers to provide precise product information, ensuring all stakeholders fully understand the materials involved.

Secure data handling
In line with CMMC 2.0 Level 2 compliance, we use Secure File Transfer Protocol (SFTP) to exchange export-controlled technical data online. Before granting access to our SFTP platform, we conduct rigorous screenings of both customers and suppliers to verify eligibility.

Regional export control regulations

Different regions have different regulations regarding export control:

USA / North America: USA / North America: The USA’s stringent export control regulations, governed by ITAR and EAR, control the export of defense-related and dual-use items. NCAB USA is authorized to build various ITAR and EAR Series 600 PCBs with specified international and domestic manufacturing partners.

Europe: The European countries export control regimes cover military and dual-use items, guided by the EU Common Military List and the EU Dual-Use Regulation (EU) 2021/821. Enforcement and licensing are handled by individual member states, leading to some variations.

Asia: Export control in Asia varies by country, with most countries carrying similar coverage and structure as the Wassenaar Arrangement munition list framework. China’s munitions list operates independently of the Wassenaar structure, but with strong overlap.
