NCAB today closes the acquisition of DVS Global in Italy
The acquisition of DVS in Italy was signed and published on July 22. The financial structure has been finalized and NCAB will close the deal as from today, the 10th of October.

The quarter was characterised by a weak economy with restrained demand, with weaker growth in Germany than expected, but more positive in North America and Asia, and to an extent in the Nordic region.
NCAB signs acquisition of DVS Global in Italy
DVS was founded in 2003 and has its headquarter in Bassano del Grappa, Italy, as well as offices in Switzerland, Hong Kong and China. The annual turnover of the PCB division in 2023 amounted to SEK 230 million with 31 employees.

Year-end report 2022
We remain confident about the future. We have a strong financial position, an excellent result and good cash flow. Most of our customers are positive about their order situation and future growth opportunities. We have a good mix of countries, regions and industries and generally speaking, low market shares.
Current supply chain situation in China
During the December and January time period, we have seen across our factories an infection rate of 75% to 95%. The vast majority of employees have recovered and we are now seeing attendance levels of 95% on average, noting that in some instances we see lower and in others we have full staffing levels.

We are seeing China change its policies relating to how they handle COVID. This change is leading to a rapid increase in infection rates and we are seeing in China, now, changes in rates that the rest of the world experienced during 2020.

The PCB material and pricing situation
Commodity prices generally stabilized in Q3, albeit at a high level. PCB raw material prices remained high, with increases observed post summer. Recent price pressure mainly reflects supply-demand mismatches resulting from post pandemic growth coupled with remaining material availability issues.
Restriction order of power supply affecting PCB production
The current electricity shortages are affecting manufacturers across virtually all mainland China, with up to 44% of China’s industrial activity affected with many factories introducing mandatory worker vacations to counter the stops in production.

High product mix – A trend that puts high demands on the factories
During the past ten years the quantities of PCBs on purchase orders placed with PCB manufacturers have gradually lessened, while the number of different designs per order have increased. NCAB Group Germany grows and moves to larger premises
NCAB Groups Germany estimates to triple its turnover 2010 compared to previous year. The company has recently strengthened it´s technical support with Hasan Tüzün, who has extensive experience from the PCB business. The sales department will be strengthened with new recruitments during autumn.
Upturn puts pressure on manufacturers
